United Teachers of Florida (UTF) is a non-union professional organization created by teachers, for teachers, to protect teachers and strengthen the teaching profession.

UTF brings together educators from traditional public, charter, and private schools across Florida to ensure teachers have a strong voice in the decisions that affect their profession, classrooms, and students. UTF is committed to high standards, accountability, ethics, respect for parental authority, and maintaining strong expectations for teacher certification and accreditation.

Through advocacy and support, UTF works to protect educators, promote professional respect, strengthen compensation and benefits, and empower teachers throughout their careers.

United Teachers of Florida believes that teachers are the cornerstone of a prosperous Florida. We are made up of current and former teachers who advocate for policies and leaders that recognize and strengthen the vital relationship between students and their teachers.
